Welcome to Nam To Sand Jam West
One of our local veterans, Michael Brewer, a Marine combat veteran of the Vietnam War, who has been a frequent visitor to the Lake Gregory Farmers Market, noted the spectacular venue we have to conduct concerts on the lake, was inspired to bring a well establish concert from Tucson, Arizona; Nam To Sand Jam, that he and some of his fellow veterans in Chapter 106 of Vietnam Veterans of America established 37 years ago in Tucson.
As a copyrighted and trademarked name, he had to ask permission of the Tucson organizers to conduct Nam To Sand Jam West in Crestline, Ca. Permission was granted and a leadership team and event manager were selected, and the work begins to launch the inaugural NAM TO SAND JAM WEST at the Tudor House on Saturday, September 20th, 2025. Served in the United States Marine Corps with 7th Marines with service in Vietnam in 1968-69. Founder and Past Commandant of Apple Valley Marine Corps League.

Richard Jellerson
Richard was born in Maine and grew up in Southern California. Graduating Army flight school as a Warrant Officer helicopter pilot he was sent immediately to Vietnam. He flew his first tour in a combat assault company inserting and extracting infantry and their wounded.

Representing the Iraq war veterans cohort group will be Brandon Brown who served with 1st Batallion 4th Marines in the Iraq War. He is a Crestline resident member of St Francis Cabrini Catholic Church and founder of the Trona Food Kitchen serving Searles Valley, California.
